Turn the headlights on first and make sure the bulb works BEFORE you put all of those screws and retainers back. Capiche???

How have you removed the layer created by the solution? I can see it stickened on the surface. I have an acrylic where I need it to be 100% smooth and transparent but have a similar problem of removing the layer. I would appreciate if you can share your experience.

Great instructional ! Correct me if I am wrong and as I was told that you have to bleed the brakes when replacing rotors and pads.

Chem dip is basically Laquer thinner So you can save some Bux if you don't need the basket.

Brake brakes wasn't that easy to me I had to rent a tool.not a c clamp

Make sure the gasket/washer comes out with the old bulb, otherwise you’ll go nuts trying to get the new one in! 🙈

should gas port the piston while ur at it it seals the top ring and helps a lot ! in most measure .100 from the edge to the inside groove and mark it comes in right behind the ring and pushes the ring out on exhaust stroke sealing it tight

Well if you follow that. You'll have a hard time braking after. Oil on the rotor will messed up the pads. Always clean the rotor on both side with brake cleaner first before putting them on place...

What about the bleeding of the brake fluid lines and all that jazz?

If you have trouble getting the bulb out, I used a pair of the small hyper tough (walmart) vice grips and it came right out. I couldn't get channel locks on it but if you have a small enough one might be able to. Me and 2 men tried to screw it out for hours and couldnt get it 😂

I didn’t see you spray the new rotor with brake cleaner to remove any film on the rotor.

I know this is an old video, but the B vent can rust through over time. The connections are also not air tight. And of course, with it being inside a concentric box and having an air intake pipe surrounding it, you'd never even know you had a problem while CO2 is being pushed out (positive pressure system) the hole and coming back into the heated area through the intake. Cat 3 is required for the exhaust pipe in both a horizontal and vertical according to Sterling. And it has to be cat 3 from the heater all the way to the termination cap. Cat 3 is expensive - it added $460 to the installation cost, however it's the only way it would pass code, since code often uses the most restrictive between the local code and the installation manual. If a fire occurred and it was not up to code and wasn't inspected then your insurance company could deny your claim. That's not a risk I was willing to take so I bought the bullet and purchased cat 3. The only way you can use B vent is if you are going vertical and pulling the intake from the garage area. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me and Sterling can't provide a good answer is why is a non concentric separated vent system (exhaust going vertical) and intake coming from outside in a totally separate pipe require cat 3, yet if you pull the intake from the garage space they consider that a cat 1. I mean what's the difference between pulling the intake from the garage space, or 2 ft away from the outside? That makes no sense and maybe there is a reason I don't understand for that.
